The SXBP variable-frequency AC resonant test system is designed for AC withstand testing of electrical equipment used in substations rated from 10 kV through 500 kV or below.
Listed test objects include power transformers, XLPE cables, generators, GIS, high-voltage switchgear, motors, insulators, bushings, power capacitors, circuit breakers, busbars, and CT/PT equipment. It is presented for field, acceptance, preventive-maintenance, and other on-site testing requirements.
The system uses a dry-type epoxy-cast construction described as providing mechanical strength and electrical insulation. Its LCD interface displays test data, equipment status, and operating steps in real time. Listed protective functions include overcurrent, overvoltage, IPM, and discharge protection.
