Buyer's Digest

Use this page as a product-first sourcing checkpoint before sending an RFQ. Category: Transformers And Substation Equipment. Confirm application fit, capacity, materials, destination, lead time and compliance requirements before comparing suppliers.

Original product description

The YA VA is a portable instrument transformer analyzer designed for testing protection-type current transformers (CTs) and potential transformers (PTs).

It supports CT excitation or V-A characteristic testing, turns-ratio measurement, polarity checks, secondary winding resistance measurement, secondary-load testing, ratio-error measurement, and phase-error measurement.

For protection-type electromagnetic PT units, supported functions include excitation characteristics, turns ratio, polarity, and secondary winding resistance.

The tester automatically calculates stated CT and PT parameters, including knee-point voltage and current, 10% and 5% error curves, Accurate Limit Factor (ALF), Instrument Security Factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), remanence coefficient (Kr), and saturated and unsaturated inductance.

Its low-frequency test method is specified for CT knee points up to 45 kV. The system can automatically select an applicable test standard based on transformer type and class;the listed standards include GB 1208 (IEC 60044-1), GB 16847 (IEC 60044-6), and GB 1207.

The output is rated at 0–180 Vrms, 12 Arms, and 18 A peak. CT and PT turns-ratio measurement ranges are both 1–40,000 with stated accuracy of ±0.2%. Phase measurement accuracy is ±5 minutes with 0.5-minute resolution. Secondary winding resistance measurement covers 0–300 ohms with stated accuracy of 2% ±2 milliohms.

AC-load measurement covers 0–300 VA with stated accuracy of 2% ±0.2 VA. For field workflow, a one-key sequence can perform CT DC resistance, excitation, turns-ratio, and polarity tests. Except for the load test, the listed CT tests use the same wiring arrangement.

The computer-controlled unit has a graphical Chinese-language interface and stores up to 2,000 test-data sets in non-volatile memory. Results can be transferred to a PC using a USB flash drive for software analysis and Word report generation. The specified input supply is AC 220 V ±10% at 50 Hz.

Listed operating conditions are -10°C to 50°C and relative humidity up to 90%. The enclosure dimensions are approxima e stated warranty period is one year.

Procurement questions to confirm before ordering: verify the exact CT/PT type, class, rated ratios, expected knee-point range, test sequence, and required report format. Confirm that the AC 220 V, 50 Hz input and Chinese-language interface are suitable for the installation site.

Buyers should also request the exact included accessories, lead and connector configuration, software and operating-system requirements, calibration documentation, applicable standard for the intended asset, final dimensions and shipping weight, customization scope, production lead time, delivery terms, and warranty-service procedure.

Buyer tips

  • State quantity range and split-delivery needs before price comparison.
  • Add certification, material or inspection standards when they affect acceptance.
  • For time-sensitive projects, include target arrival date and destination.
  • For special applications, describe operating condition, installation environment and duty cycle.

FAQ

What should buyers confirm first?

Confirm application, specification, quantity, destination and lead-time requirements before comparing offers.

Can buyers inquire when specs are incomplete?

Yes. Add model, material, size, use case and inspection needs in the RFQ to make replies comparable.

How should this listing be evaluated?

Check title, category, specifications and related keywords against the actual sourcing requirement.
