The SXZR-50AS is a portable transformer DC resistance tester designed for winding-resistance measurements during transformer manufacturing tests, installation and handover work, preventive testing, overhaul, and checks following tap-changer replacement.
It supports simultaneous three-phase testing of Yn, Y, and Delta connection groups while retaining a single-phase test mode. Supported measurement capabilities include a 0–25 kΩ resistance range and accuracy of ±(0.2% of reading + 2 digits).
Selectable single-phase currents are 50 A, 20 A, 10 A, 5 A, 1 A, 0.2 A, 10 mA, and below 1 mA. Three-phase selections are 25 A + 25 A, 10 A + 10 A, 5 A + 5 A, 1 A + 1 A, and 0.2 A + 0.2 A.
The instrument combines magnetization-aided testing, three-phase testing, automatic charging and discharging, demagnetization, and automatic calculation of the three-phase balance coefficient. A 7-inch color touchscreen and shuttle knob provide two operating methods.
Test records can be retained in local storage and produced on the built-in thermal printer. The stated operating supply is AC 220 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz. The specified operating range is -10°C to 50°C, with relative humidity up to 90% under non-condensing conditions.
